The LCA invites you to get involved in one or more of the following areas. This is not an all-inclusive list. but it may give you an idea of the possibilities. Details on other opportunities to serve will be given as the need arises. Please contact the appropriate chairperson or the school if you have questions. We would love to see as many families involved as possible.
180 DAYS OF PRAYER: This exciting program began last year and it gives parents (and grandparents) the opportunity to walk LCA's campus and pray for our students. For more information, please contact Shawna Johnson or Kim Thorne.
NEW FAMILY SHEPHERDING: Do you remember being new somewhere and wishing you had a friend? This program gives you the chance to be a friend to a family that is new to LCA. For more information, please contact Kristi Ogletree or Paula Flowler.
ADOPT-A-STAFF: This program pairs a staff member with an LCA family and requires that you prepare a meal twice a year on the Teacher Appreciation days, pray for your designated staff person, remember them with a card on their birthday, send a note of encouragement a couple of times a year, etc. For more info, please contact Laura Smith.
MEALS-ON-WHEELS: LCA's teachers and administrators work hard every day. Twice a year we give them a break by providing a ready-to-eat meal for them and their family. For more information, please contact Jan Byers.
You can sign up for any or all of these programs at Orientation or Open House or by contacting the appropriate PTF Chairperson.
MOMS IN TOUCH: This amazing group has been meeting once a week for an hour for the past eleven years. MIT's purpose is to intercede for LCA's children through prayer and to pray that LCA will be guided by biblical values and high moral standards. For more information, please contact Shawna Johnson.
GOING GREEN: LCA is in it's second year of "going green". From recycling to gardening and lots of things in between, this program will help teach our children to be good stewards of God's resources. For more information, please contact Barb Bolen.

For more information, please contact Barbara O'Neal or or Linda Hancock.
